Hello! A few weeks ago I went to The Body Shop to repurchase a face wash as I had finished the previous one. While I was there I decided to have a look around and noticed this mask which I had read many good reviews about. So I decided to purchase it to find out if it lives up to its name.
The blue corn 3-in-1 deep cleansing mask is suitable for normal and oily skin and promises to cleanse, exfoliate and purify. The light blue mask has a very thick consistency, although it's fairly easy to spread, with pieces of corn in it that help to exfoliate. The cost of this 100 ml tub is £11 which makes it fall on the pricier side but I do think that it's worth the money. To I apply first wash your face with a cleanser and then apply a generous amount on your face avoiding the eyes, nose and mouth. After 15-20 minutes remove the mask with a damp facecloth. It is recommended to use once or twice a week
After a few minutes, my face starts to feel a stinging sensation which it's not that pleasant. The smell doesn't have a really specific scent but it's not bad. Upon removing the mask I immediately see a difference in my skin, mostly my t-zone. Most of the blackheads on my nose disappear and my skin looks much brighter.
All in all, I'm really happy with the results and will definitely be repurchasing although I don't think that it will happen anytime soon as it will last for quite a while.
